Meet the Founder

Desiree Bailey is a Limited Licensed Psychologist and National Certified School Psychologist Specialist with advanced training from the University of Michigan School of Psychology and Wayne State University. Her career has been defined by a deep commitment to understanding how students learn — and removing every barrier that stands in their way.

With over 438 special education evaluations completed for students across Metro Detroit, Desiree brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and classroom experience to every student she works with. She has developed and implemented a self-contained curriculum for students with cognitive impairments, translating complex educational research into practical, student-centered instruction.

Desiree founded Logan's Learning Lab to make high-quality, individualized academic support accessible to every family — regardless of zip code or circumstance. What started as a local tutoring practice has grown into a trusted educational resource serving students across Metro Detroit and virtually in Florida, St. Thomas, Dallas, and Houston.
